Supporting young and emerging artists: the Prix des Amis des Beaux-Arts de Paris<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Les Amis des Beaux-Arts Organization, founded in 2007 by agn\u00e8s b., its president, aims to promote the \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris and to support its students and graduate artists. Supported by its members and patrons, the association offers artists prizes, scholarships, project support, and sponsorships in the contemporary art world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2008, the association has awarded prizes reserved for third- and fifth-year students\u2014with the exception of the portrait prize, which is open to all years\u2014that recognize the quality of their work. They are selected by a jury of prominent figures from the world of arts and culture: journalists from the professional press, representatives of a cultural institution, gallery owners, independent curators, and artists who have graduated from the \u00c9cole des Beaux-Arts de Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These \u20ac5,000 awards are presented by loyal and generous patrons passionate about young artists. One of the prizes is awarded by the members. The prizes are presented each year at the end of June during the School’s Open Workshops, at the same time as the work of the previous year’s winners is exhibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
