LAUNCHING & MEETING ABOUT SALOMÉ BOTELLA’S BOOK: ‘PAS SI TANT’

“Façons de dire, façons de faire” : meeting between Salomé Botella and Michel Blazy.

« Pas si tant », It is the universal story of leaving childhood behind, with its images, places and characters. Above all, it is the voice of a generation, one that is not often heard, which bears the traces of stories and gestures passed down, and which lingers over recounting these spaces, their ways of speaking and their ways of doing things.

To mark the publication of her first novel, La Librairi du Jour is organising a meeting between Salomé Botella and Michel Blazy. This discussion will focus on an exchange about their respective artistic practices, their approaches and the forms they take.

The event will feature a reading of excerpts from ‘Pas si tant’ by Salomé Botella, followed by a discussion with the audience.

The expression ‘Façons de dire, façons de faire’ is borrowed from the title of a book by French ethnologist Yvonne Verdier, who devoted her research to everyday gestures, showing how these practices carry social, symbolic and cultural meanings.
