agnès b. has always lived with music! From the Ramones LPs that were constantly playing in her very first boutique on rue du Jour in 1975 to her web radio, music is a must in the stylist’s world. The stylist very often works with music and has long created clothes for singers and musicians: Air, Placebo, Rone, Matthieu Chedid or Oxmo Puccino… not to mention David Bowie or Chet Baker before their deaths. Many other international artists, fans of the brand, regularly appear in agnès b. like Patti Smith, Thom Yorke or Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth to name a few… agnès b. has also created collections with musicians she admires like Nekfeu or Jain.

From the opening of La Fab. in 2020, Agnès wanted a piano to be featured prominently. Improvised jam sessions during openings, Sunday musicians or talented friends, this is how “The circle of musician friends of La Fab.!” was born.

This fall, with the complicity of Sylvie Valleix, La Fab. is happy to present a program that is both cutting-edge and eclectic around the piano. 4 performances will punctuate this musical season, from October to June. From the flamboyant tap dancing of the virtuoso Aurélien Lehman accompanied by Vessela Pelovska on the piano, to the emotional tribute to Barbara promised by Noëmi Waysfeld, through the piano “massages” by Arnaud Roulin and the “jewels” that will be revealed by Pierre Fontanelle (cello) and Ninon Hannecart-Ségal (piano), so many evenings that will thrill the audience in the exceptional setting of agnès b.’s lab collection.

TAP VIRTUOSO – Aurélien Lehmann (tap dance) et Vessela Pelovska (piano) From paris opera

OCTOBER 25 2024 – 8 PM

Velocity, speed and technique are on the program of this offbeat show that crosses 3 centuries of classical music, from Bach to Gershwin, in a unique visual and musical performance, where the piano and tap dancing compete in mastery. The virtuoso tap dancer, Aurélien Lehmann, former rugby player, graduate of Sciences Po, but also choreographer and musician, does not spare his physical commitment and develops a spectacular and very lively approach to “Great Music”. The diversity of the dancer’s steps combined with the playing of Vessela Pelovska, keyboard virtuoso, from the Paris Opera, takes Broadway tap dancing to unsuspected territories.

MASSAGES FOR PIANO – ARNAUD ROULIN (POP-JAZZ)

DECEMBER 13 2024 – 8 PM

Pianist of Jeanne Added, Catherine Ringer, Thomas de Pourquery… His album “Massages for piano”, TTTT Télérama, realizes the decoction of his life as a musician whose heroes are Miles and Wagner, as a pianist inspired by Nina Simone and Oscar Peterson, as a composer influenced by Satie and Jobim. To which is added a reflection on the texture of the sound itself, in the bowels of the instrument.

BIJOUX – PIERRE FONTANELLE (CELLO) et NINON HANNECART-SÉGAL (PIANO)

MARCH 20 2025 – 20h

Inspired by the most beautiful “jewels” of the cello-piano repertoire, each piece is associated with a precious stone. The audience is invited to choose these precious stones at rando over the course of the evening, thus creating a unique and different program order for each performance. Pierre and Ninon reveal the work after the audition, following the example of
Debussy, who revealed the titles of his preludes only after their performance.

BARBARA NOËMI WAYSFELD SINGS BARBARA

JUNE 6 2025 – 20H

Paying tribute to the midnight singer? This is probably a challenge or an impossibility for those who have had the chance to hear Barbara on stage. That was without counting on Noëmi Waysfeld! Singing Barbara touches on the experience of the sublime. Going to meet this emotion, this breath, carried by the voice of Noëmi Waysfeld and imagining a setting for her. The Dames Brunes show is a rendezvous, like the promise of a beautiful love story, as one might say. A symphonic creation developed by the singer Noëmi Waysfeld, the composer Fabien Cali and the Orchestre national Avignon-Provence.
