La librairie du jour

Founded in 1984 by designer and patron agnès b., the librairie du jour stands as a unique and essential space dedicated to art and culture. Situated at the heart of agnès b.’s artistic universe, this one-of-a-kind bookstore is much more than just a place to purchase books—it is a true celebration of creativity and artistic expression.

The bookstore is distinguished by its exceptional and exclusive collection, showcasing all publications produced by the éditions de la galerie du jour. Among the treasures it offers are iconic works by renowned artists and creators such as Raymond Hains, a pioneer of Nouveau Réalisme, Harmony Korine, an avant-garde filmmaker and writer, Martin Parr, celebrated for his documentary photography, Hugues Reip, a multidisciplinary contemporary artist, and Malick Sidibé, a master of Malian photography. This eclectic selection reflects the diversity and richness of contemporary creation.

In addition to these unique editions, the bookstore features a carefully curated selection of literary and artistic works, highlighting a discerning taste for inspiring and timeless creations. It also offers a range of exclusive merchandise specially designed to honor the visual identity and innovative spirit of our new flagship venue: La Fab. !

True to agnès b.’s commitment to promoting art in all its forms, the librairie du jour also serves as a vibrant and dynamic space. In close collaboration with the galerie du jour and the agnès b. collection, the bookstore will host a rich and varied program of events. Book signings, captivating talks, and artist meet-and-greets will create a direct connection between visitors and the world of contemporary art.
