Emanuel Bovet is a photographer and video artist. Through his work, he highlights the paradoxes of daily life, drawing inspiration from people and landscapes he encounters on his travels. His very diverse subjects have one characteristic in common: his untreated photographs reveal something that is not always visible at first sight.

Emanuel Bovet likes to spend time in regions and countries where, alone and beyond the reach of traditional media, he sets out to discover real lives. His lens and writing give a new insight on Iraq, Japan and Central Europe.
